There's no way I could express my feelings this clearly, but it's spot on. It's a pity this wasn't circulated enough before the vote. Such a shame...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5629573155318603267.post-26918192093253402442008-11-14T19:01:00.000-05:002008-11-14T19:01:00.000-05:00This comment has been removed by the author. Not so much a blog as a blank page.https://www.blogger.com/profile/17548426718916268312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5629573155318603267.post-51684105028128009962008-11-12T08:57:00.000-05:002008-11-12T08:57:00.000-05:00Seriously, that brought me to tears.Seriously, that brought me to tears.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5629573155318603267.post-30191906377217315072008-11-11T17:46:00.000-05:002008-11-11T17:46:00.000-05:00I, too, was deeply moved by Olbermann's commentary...I, too, was deeply moved by Olbermann's commentary, and hope someday that younger Americans will be able to undo this injustice. Though religion plays a large role in the hostility, I think age and culture play a larger role. How ironic that almost 60% of African-Americans supported this measure! And I don't know the statistics, but I expect a much higher percentage of men than women supported the measure. There's that "macho" culture that for some reason feels threated by gays. For the life of me, I just do not understand.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5629573155318603267.post-85777616772655497632008-11-11T13:28:00.000-05:002008-11-11T13:28:00.000-05:00Wow...eloquence is certainly the word for that. I...Wow...eloquence is certainly the word for that. I wish people would watch that and be convinced by it and anything at all would change. But, continuing with that idea of a religion that professes love and spreads hate, how can he only single them out for gay rights? Aren't they also warmongers too? Aren't they judgemental, assuming everyone with a different religion (or no religion) will be destined for hell, regardless of their moral character? Kudos to that guy, but a lot more could be -- and needs to be -- said.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
